I am experienced in many aspects of performance and look forward to accepting lead roles, for stage and screen. Below I have selected a few career highlights so far:
TELEVISION AND FILM
My television début spanned two episodes in The Royal Today, playing Kevin Gough, directed by Chris Corcoran. Next up was an episode of Emmerdale, playing Fergal, a paint ball instructor who turned out to be the love interest of regular Leyla Harding. I also played an eccentric compère in E4′s Skins, introducing a number of acts, one of which brought Elizabeth ‘Effy’ Stonem to tears, directed by Daniel O’Hara. I recently played Phoebe Tonkin's love interest in Stan's series Bloom and a police officer in Neighbours.
I have appeared in many short films, which all count when tallying up the 10,000 hours required to become a master of my craft - just something director Matt Bloom recently suggested. I think he's been reading Gladwell's Outliers.
My lead feature film début was titled Confession, and revolves around relationships and the problems they can cause, especially when the couple are in their twenties. The film was a ‘Five Frames Left’ project, shot on 16mm film, over two weeks in Leeds, directed by Mike Dawson, and produced by Howard Dawson.

SHORT FILMS
WARNING! THIS VIDEO CONTAINS IMAGES OF A DISTRESSING NATURE AND DEALS WITH SUICIDE AND DEPRESSION. R U OK? Depression is real. Throughout the course of history men have not openly discussed their feelings publicly as society, on a whole, allow the majority to struggle on in silence and expect men to "Suck it up, Princess." -this has to change and it can with a simple conversation. R U OK, Movember and Lifeline are three of many charity organisations who deal with men's mental health problems. The stiff upper lip has well and truly been abolished, or at least slightly hidden by Movember, which raises awareness and saves lives. Anything that encourages us to talk to our friends, family or loved ones about mental and physical health should be encouraged and applauded, whoever we are, which is why I made this short film with some friends at Sydney Kino Kabaret 2018. Written, shot and edited in a few hours with love. Thank you to everyone involved. Lifeline: 13 11 14 (Call 24/7 for crisis support) #RUOK #youcantalk #mentalhealth #depression #suicide
Written, shot and cut in 48 hours for the Melbourne 48 Hour Film Project 2015.

Wrote, shot, edited and screened in Berlin for Kino Berlino Kabaret 2016. Kino Berlin is incredibly established with an abundance of pro equipment available to hire and pro content being produced during the Kabaret. However, because we did not know who to connect with, all the pro crew quickly set off with ideas in teams leaving a few people behind without a project so we had to come up with our own idea for a film, this was the inspiration for Pitch Possible.
Made in three days at Filmonik Kino Kabaret 2013.

SITE SPECIFIC - TWELFTH NIGHT
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Victoria Baths, in a drained Edwardian swimming pool, Malkin Tower re-imagined Shakespeare’s classic play as a late 19th century exploration of madness and hysteria. I played three roles in this exciting project, Antonio, Captain, and Malvolio. When playing Malvolio my main aim was to inspire empathy for the way he is treated.
“Andrew Cullimore's comic timing is just spot on.”

WIND IN THE WILLOWS IN KEW ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS
Andrew is the UK representative for The Australian Shakespeare Company and played Ratty in Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows in Kew Royal Botanic Gardens and toured to Wakehurst Place. The show looks to be returning next summer.
THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR
THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR - West End (Ambassador's Theatre) and International Tour
In this critically acclaimed production, created by Jonathan Rockefeller, I played one of three puppeteers brought 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show' to life 275 times. The production toured to over 50 venues and featured a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, faithfully adapting four of Eric Carle stories, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show - The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

CHARLIE AND LOLA'S BEST BESTEST PLAY/EXTREMELY NEW PLAY
Charlie and Lola was well and truly my apprenticeship into this profession, touring over 100 venues, some many times, and performing close to 2000 times. I was cast as Charlie shortly after my graduation and as the brand was picked up by several producers its life was extremely exciting, playing such venues as 10 weeks at the Sydney Opera House, 6 weeks in Hong Kong Arts Centre, 6 weeks in Singapore Repertory Theatre. Charlie and Lola also headlined numerous festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe in 2010.
STREET THEATRE - Walkabout and Static
I performed both static and walkabout street theatre for companies such as Artizani and Reckless Invention who are represented by leading agent Fools Paradise for over 10 seasons whilst in the UK. Artistic director of Artizani, James Macpherson, owns a rather large barn in north Derbyshire, full of interesting and entertaining treasures, such as a revolving stage powered by a bicycle, boats designed for land, not water, powered by wheel chair motors, and a rather large selection of stilt costumes. He uses these to create some of the finest street theatre around, inspired by the likes of Buster K, circus skills often form the foundation of his work. Artistic director of Reckless Invention, Tom Bell, is equally intriguing. After working for Macpherson for a few seasons, he decided to go it alone and was snatched up immediately by the same leading agent. Here is what Tom says about his own work:
The comedy in our work is always underpinned by a level of skill which is our currency with the audience. They trust us to entertain them and we use that trust to build large audiences. They not only stay till the end, but come back again and again. It’s not unusual over a two or three day event to see families return just to see our show every time we perform. Not one audience is the same however and a Reckless Invention show is successful because it cleverly adapts to its environment and its audience.
